An Interesting Footnote On The First Sullivan Show
The Beatles first appeared on Sullivan on February 9th 1964, and thereby for the first time on US TV, it is interesting therefore to note that 3 years earlier to the day, 9th Feb 1961, The Beatles played their very first Cavern appearance during one of the lunchtime sessions.
