John: Mary in the Morning and Spanish Eyes rank among my favorites of Al's. They are such pleasant songs. Al also spoke a bit about WPEN last night. He wanted to make sure they still played the standards.
Rick: I gave him a few bars! It is ironic what happened last night.
Ron: His whole family was there last night. He named them all. He mentioned that they were all present at his 1952 recording session of "Here in my Heart"
Al is a very easy going guy. I wish I could have talked with him longer. But he said most likely he will be back around the area soon and we can chat again.
