Jim...yes I'm very familiar with Spumoni Gardens. My daughters go there to eat when they are visiting my two nieces. My husband and I went there in the 60's to eat when I was pregnant with my daughter's...had to have the eggplant sandwich. Have you ever gone to Joe's on Ave U? It is a sicilian specialtly restaurant...panelles, rice ball, croquettes, etc. I have to get off this subjuct I'm getting hungry!
