I listened to AJ's music for the first time and all the songs were excellent! I really liked Equivacation the best and I also liked Your Nearest Exit.

I love her music and that song is great!! Thanks so much for the bump Brian!

How exciting it must be for you, Nancy, to have your daughter in the same business carrying on the Sinatra and Lambert name to new generations. It must be nerve wracking in some respects because you know the foibles and uncertainties that accompany the music world along with the highs and the successes, but just A.J.'s statement that "label business is for the birds", shows that she is independent and clear eyed and she will be a success, on her own terms.

the man i work for (adam curry) talks a lot about our company's role as an "un-label"

recording and distribution are now things that artists can easily and inexpensively do for themselves - promotion is a bit more of a challenge though, and podcasting can help artists find their audience

to paraphrase john belushi "we don't need no stinkin' labels!"
