I just thought I would share my story with everyone.

I was at the Dollar Store the other day picking up some candy for my basketball players, and I looked in the cd's to see if I could find anything. Occasionally I can find a FS cd. Well, this time I did, but the plastic wrap had been torn a little bit, but I didn't think it was any big deal.

So I get in my car and open the rest of the cd to put it in my cd player and there is no cd in it! So I take it back in and tell the lady that I had just bought it and there was no cd in it.

She said that she didn't think there was because it seemed light and she shook it but it didn't seem like there was anything in it. First of all "Thanks for telling me!" I stand there and wait while she waits on the guy in front of me and she looks at me and asks, "Oh! Did you want to exchange it?" No! I just wanted to keep the empty case! Some people!

So I go and check to see if I can find another cd of FS and I do, Tommy Dorsey and Frank Sinatra. So I wait in line again to exchange it. And I get all the way up there and there is just one more person in front of me. She looks at me and the cds and says that it's fine...I can just take the other one. Even though the empty one was $8 and the new one was $5.

But I wasn't going to argue with her over $3, especially when it was such a deal for such a great cd. I just couldn't belive how dumb some people are.

Hi Saucy, You shouldn't have made her get away with not giving you the $3.00 back...You shouldn't go back to that store again...That was not very nice..She was a creep for taking advantage of a sweet girl...Well I know you will enjoy the c d you did get....

That reminds me of the aggravation I have with grocery store scanners.

A product is supposedly on sale yet doesn't go through the scanner at the reduced price.

It's a pain in the ...well, you know.

But you did get a Tommy Dorsey and Frank Sinatra CD. Great music at any price!

I don't generaly have trouble with sales clerks like that. Sometimes they give a look like they think I stole something, but no one is rude enough to say anything.

I'm a little ashamed to say I'm exteremly shy and I have no backbone, so I probably would have just smiled and said thank you, without saying anything about the $3.
