Football; not a great national team but we invented the game and by a long way have the best league in the world.
Apparently we invented cricket and rugby to but I've never stayed awake long enough to know how they work.

Hot buttered crumpets. A nice cup of tea.

Roast beef and yorkshire pudding.

Donkey rides on the beach, scones and clotted cream, and knotted hankies on our heads LOL!

And those saucy seaside postcards.

These "Keep Calm" posters are very popular at the moment, originally produced by the British Government in 1939 at the start of the Second World War they were intended to raise the moral of the British public in the event of invasion.

Name: Keep Calm and Carry On.jpg
Views: 105
Size: 8.2 KB

These days "Keep Calm And..." can be found on many items, including mugs, place mats, iPhone covers etc.....There's even an APP to create your own.

An amazing sense of history, yet equally amazing that the younger generation have lost that sense somewhat.

Blenheim Palace, Pork Belly at the Nelson Arms in Farnham, Croydon..- er...well, two out of the three are great!...

Strawberries and cream are synonymous with tennis at Wimbledon and British Summertime, come rain or shine.

Belly draft is tasty Jake, I agree.

The Melton Mowbray pork pie and the Bakewell tart.
