June, I think you are putting me on today. Grilled cheese in a toaster? Seems messy to me...

Darn, made a mess with the toaster. Next time, I'll remember to put the cheese slice on the top.

I was wrong! It does work. Got just a little cheese on the inside of the toaster as I was sliding it out, but it did toast nicely. Sorry to doubt, just seemed too good to be true .

Cut the cheese smaller then bread size, the cheese will melt but not melt in the inside of toaster and become a messy bothersome..

I'm going to give it a go tomorrow , grilling cheese in the toaster , it wouldn't even cross my mind to do this. Who'd have thunk it .

Did you know it's (almost ) impossible to lick your elbow.. Try it

June, that's just great. It never occurred to me. Such a convenient quick hunger fix.

Did you know?

That if you place ground meat in a ziplock bag and press the meat flat out corner to corner then with the back of a wooden spoon press and divide into square sections. Then freeze. You can break off each meat section and use what you need. Easier then individually making patties too.

June, I do so! I confirm that it is a great way to have meatballs ready for any emergency!

The meatballs may get squashed and make a bit of a mess though.

I haven't tried it yet, too hot here for toast,so I had tuna and mayo sarnie for lunch.

Tina, do not season the ground meat. Place the freshly ground meat into a ziploc plastic bag. Press ground meat into four corners flat. Make separation with the back of a wooden spoon. Like tic tac toe squares..Then freeze. You can then break off as much ground meat you need..

June, an associate sent me these in the e-mail.

The elevator one may be useful for Rick.
