Quote Adam<<<<This isn't a thread for announcements and information>>>>

Sorry Adam but you missed the point here. This beautiful piece has been here all day and nobody said a word about it. So, fittingly, I decided to make an "Announcement" and bring attention to it. Where is Leanne when I need her?

Thanks for that "up". I missed it. Still, not a whole lot of response. I'm surprised. Maybe tomorrow is another day as Scarlett would say.

Adam, if you pick on me again I want you to remember that I have friends in low places.

I would have responded sooner, but was out all day. It is a wonderful opening page.

So glad to have you as a friend, now that I know you have friends in low places

Nancy's vocal clarity and conveying of deep earnest sentiment is truly addressing in every way, spiritually, rationally, and emotionally.

But my stupid obso IE browser isn't loading the pictures, even though I have the Flash 5 drivers (I make Flash 5 cartoons all the time - my last one was Olive Oil in labor with Sweet Pea, crying "ah, Popeye, help!" with Popeye replying "not now Olives, can't you see I'm busy?" while his priority is wrestling with Brutus).

So I'm going to try to access it in my Netscape browser now so I can completely appreciate the multimedia experience.

Netscape streamed it completely (in dribs and drabs due to limited RAM on my machine).

Yes, Nancy put together a very nice Flash movie here. The scrolling shadowed text is excellent, as its complimentary script gives an added dimension to Nancy's first rate vocal.

I know scrolling text can be done in Flash 5; for some reason my machine's crippled operating system won't let me create it with their script, but workarounds are contrivable at the expense of filesize.

Although, while my Flash 5 driver plays the piece, I realize Nancy may actually have done this in Flash MX, designed for the XP OS, wherein the scrolling script is upgraded to a dedicated textscroll utility.

(I get everything cart before the horse - I have the MX program but not the new machine with XP yet).

My condo is 4 years old and built like a concrete fortress. I'm happy for the new building codes even if they did drive up the prices. Most of our damage was uprooted trees.

The extent of my computer knowledge is extremely limited but I would love to see a conversation about Rams and Flash fives between you and Derek.
