Trista chooses Ryan!!!
Charlie was probably the better catch with all his confidence and pearlie toothed smile, great job and in your face personality, but it was Ryan, who wrote beautiful poetry to Trista, who was obviously falling in love, who wasn't afraid to step up to the plate and let her know she had won his heart. It was realty TV at it's best when Trista told Ryan that he was the one that she loved and wanted to spend her life with. Just seeing his face; his happiness, his relief, his great love for her...(damn, am I getting slobbery).... Charlie, even at the end stated that if she chose him he would have time to fall in love with Trista (what? How long was THAT going to take?) ...Ryan had already fallen in love and Trista knew that...What more could you want? The only thing missing was Frank Sinatra's voice singing one of his many wonderous love songs. Well, hopefully, this great love won't end after the February television sweeps.... I can hear "It Had to be you." disgustingly in love with love, jeane

WOW
I'm still in shock that she chose Ryan - I didn't give her credit for not going after the big bucks Charlie makes over what Ryan makes as a firefighter. I am impressed she chose Ryan - he was such a sweetie and brave too, to reveal so much of himself on tv. I guess there is some substance to the girl afterall.
What did you think of the break-up of Aaron and Helene? I got the impression Helene was a tad insecure and possessive(?). If not that, then Aaron is a heel. |

Hi "Camms",
Is that your real name? Anyway, I didn't watch all of that second "Bachelor" but just from what I saw, Aaron's preoccupation with Helene's "beauty" (he must have mentioned that half a dozen times) he wasn't too awfully focused on her personality and how harmonious they were with each other. The fact that when they reunited that last weekend and he put the engagement ring on the nightstand without a word about it, bothered me. Why couldn't he just say, ,"Here Helene; I want you to please take the ring." She was confused, he was confused, and girlfriend, I was confused....I guess what confuses me more than anything is the fact that I'm spending time discussing this at all....Jeesh!!!! Oh, well.....Guilty pleasures are what they say....jeane

Aaron & Helene
Hi Jeane,
My real name is Cindi. I never watched the first bachelor but when the second one came around, my 12-year-old daughter wanted to watch it and I would not let her without watching it myself and the rest is history. I picked up on the fact that he mentioned her beauty frequently as well - that was the only thing he had to say about her with the exception of the first few praises which did not ring true either. I liked him so much on the show, I just hate the fact that I have to face the fact that he may have been a heel. I probably should apologize for watching this superficial stuff but with the political climate being what it is today, I just have to have a place to run to to forget about the scary things that are going on in our world. LIght and fluffy is good. Regards, Cindi |

Yes, Cindi
You really hit the nail on the head...I didn't realize till reading your post why i've been so hooked on these particular 'reality shows.' Yes, the political climate and devastating bad news lately has me so depressed that I just want to see some 'fluff.' And, boy have I!!!
The only reality shows that I refuse to watch are the "Survivor" types where they have to eat insect larvae, kill animals (a wild boar, I read), and concentrate on the use of deception, cunning, greed and pure selfishness. Now maybe some might say that's what is utilized on "The Bachelor/Bachelorette" but the payoff is still romance which I can't get enough of... I'm crazy about Ryan find Charlie a real cutie... Thanks for your nice reply....jeane

Hi Jeane,
Seen any good interviews lately? I can't keep up with them. I usually tune in at the end of one as I am channel surfing. I never have been able to watch the Survivor shows but I do land on the insect eating ones once in a while and I have to change the channel before I get sick too. It takes a sick mind to come up with the stuff they have to do and/or eat doesn't it? So, what are we going to watch next? Anything new or fun coming up? Happy viewing!

More dreck
Hi...
Looks like Zora and Neanderthal Evan have gone splitsville...What did they do with that "Million Dollars?" He bought a Mercedes and she's helping family members. When asked if she was going to Hawaii with Evan, Zora repliled that she hadn't been asked. Well, so much for reality tv romances... I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for Trista and that adorable Ryan....jeane

I got the impression Zora was packing to leave when she found out the truth - I wonder if the show execs talked her into staying - maybe they told her about the money (?). I've dated guys like Evan - looking back, Neanderthal pretty much covers it.
I am intrigued with Ryan and Trista - keep us posted. |
