I just finished a 3 week negotiation. Tomorrow we put it in writing and Wednesday I present to the board. Very stressful, but I hope it will be satisfying. The good news is the Board meeting dinner is at "21" tomorrow night. I'm exhausted.

I just arrived from grocery shopping. It's so cold, windy and rainy that I haven't courage to go out anymore today.

My work project for the day is to create shows for the 100th anniversary celebration of Nancy for Frank. I started out with 640 songs and there are approximately 55 songs per each 3-hour show.

That's great that your knee is doing better, Nancy. Don't let Hector choose any titles for you...

Was watching the Orioles and Yankees game. Yankees won 2-1 on a walk-off home run by Matsui!

I know it must be a difficult task but you always pick the perfect group of songs. Looking forward to 100th Anniversary Special!

Wow! I don't know where you find the strength, Nancy. Sometimes making a simple mix CD or playlist for me is torture because I want tracks to naturally flow from one to the other and have some kind of sense to their organization.

I caught a rebroadcast of one of your shows yesterday while I was working around the house and it was wonderful! Such a mix of material from radio and studio recordings and different artists and sometimes different recordings of the same songs! That is the kind of stuff we real fans enjoy comparing/contrasting! :-)

I can't imagine the pride you must feel having Sinatra as your father. I can imagine it was a lot of pressure to live up to, which really is impossible as he set an unreachable standard. You've become a great champion of his work, I just say! It's very important to do what you do to keep the memory alive, as it helps introduce him to new generations as well as reintroduce him to others. Just fantastic!

Today I started plowing through my Sinatra Concepts box that just arrived, went to a used CD store, listened to SINATRA'S SWINGIN' SESSION and COME DANCE WITH ME, had dinner with a friend, did laundry, and played around a lot online. Back to work tomorrow though!

I went to the gym in morning on the way back from dropping my 2 & half year old to daycare and went with the 8 month old to the gym. When I found out they provide babysitting my last excuse for not working out was removed.

I spent the rest of the day on and off the phone.

Good they watch the kiddies so the parents can keep in shape!

I sent off to Chuck the first part of the trilogy of 100th celebration shows. Two more to go but it took almost all day plus three weeks to get the first one.

Waited longingly for news from AJ who climbed Mount Fuji yesterday. She just sent a very newsy email about what a wonderful experience it was and how privileged she felt to be able to see the sunrise from the mountain.

Cleaned out a chest of drawers and got rid of a lot of stuff I don't need, made some dinner, spoke with family by phone, answered email and worked on SAG issues, monitored this site - and worked a little on my jigsaw puzzle from hell - but mostly worked on the show.

These shows are very special to me and they kind of reflect my life with the music I love. All of the songs and artists are important to me so I hope the shows will be well received.
