What's happened to IMDB!?
http://www.imdb.com/ This is a big change from even yesterday. Hope they make it more user-friendly, as the OLD IMDB was, because this is totally messed up. Any thoughts?

I have to agree with you Bob, the new format does seem to be more about promotion and providing selling links than the old and looks a bit cramped on the front page, i've noticed a few minor changes over the last couple of months which have been confusing at first, but the good news however is the data base section is still as invaluable and familiar as ever, and the television related section has improved many fold in the last 3 months especially (with many European TV series coming online alongside the US data) and at least they haven't buggered around with the search engine.

It's not nearly a fun to surf IMDB as it once was.

It's true. I couldn't care less about any of these new "stars".
Cookie-cutter images, easily replaceable by the next heat. It would seem as though producers and directors shy away from anyone with any real individual depth or character. Well, Bob, there's always wikipedia. Really, what is more insulting than some legend in their own mind only 30 years old publishing a biography, or reminiscing about their ancient analog VCR.
