Do English Visitors to the site have any meetings?.

I was wondering if any of the members of the site based in the UK have any annual meet ups?, would be nice to meet and chat about the music we enjoy, if there is a post about this please feel free to merge this into that one.

why not arrange something, Wayne? Many of the forum's get togethers have originated informally through members agreeing to meet up somewhere or other.

It would be good if something could be arranged for a weekend or something like that if someone has the commitment, maybe something small for a first meeting were fans could chat possibly have a few drinks together, a bite to eat or something like that. would be great to branch out into something which may involve some night time entertainment, maybe a singer or group of some kind ?, im just throwing ideas around here. Maybe this has all been done before?, apologies if it has in advance. Perhaps there is someone who does a tribute show or something, whom is widely regarded as accurate and authentic, I think its great to chat on here and read about what other fans have done, whom they have met, i feel in the real World it could be equally as rewarding?.

Hi there. I've met up with SFF members in London and Paris a few years ago and it was great fun.

The challenge is setting an achievable date in the future and getting everyone motivated!

I think it's a great idea. I think since most of us will have to travel to wherever the meet will be that it needs to be a significant event, like when we did the Sinatra at the Palladium group.

Any ideas?

Maybe find a show or something we think we could all enjoy, Summertime around July would be ideal, I would like to part of this.

Yes, still flying all over the place!!! I was in Lutonistan, known to most as London Luton, for three days in a row last week, only no time to do much meeting.

London is not too far away, but of course with two kids it's a bit harder to explain to the wife that I'll be off on a serious Sinatra studies conference in a pub...-lic gathering place.
