I could have but I did'nt even bother to watch a bit of it this year, I watched a documentray instead on the works of Leonardo Da Vinci, which was topical and far more stimulating for the grey matter.

Oh, I don't know Jeffrey, the way the viewing public around Europe votes in these things seems an even more puzzling conundrum than any Da Vinci Code.

And never underestimate the power of Eurovision, it once sparked a revolution in Portugal!!!!

I have in fact found clues to a secret society's plot for Europe wide domination in the lyrics to many past Eurovision entries. "Boom Bang A Bang" "La La La" & "Sing Sang Song" all contain secret messages, when played backwards and listened too from another room of course, that point to an attempt to create influence over the European populace through the study and manipulation of "Eurvisiopsephology" (and I didn't make that up either you can check here for some background)

The Balkan Block and The Scandanavian Alliances being the most obvious targets for the unscrupulous.

There is hope though, as individuals can re-balance their minds by sporting berets, beige safari suits and doing the "Save all Your Kisses For Me" Dance

Soccer Aid

Anyone else watching this? It's all in aid of UNICEF and quite entertaining. Robbie Williams' England team against Gordon Ramsay's Rest of the World. Some surprisingly reasonable players too amongst the celebs. The big match against the two teams is on Saturday. A bit of entertainment to get us all ready for the World Cup.

Can someone tell me if the second series of Extras is on yet in the UK?

We're not supposed to get it here till the fall.

Ricky Gervais, to me, is the funniest person alive.

Celebrity X Factor

I'm back again, now asking if anyone is watching "Celebrity X Factor" - Chris Moyles to win, even though I love Matt Stevens, the England rugby player. Moyles has to win it for his dancing alone, plus he didn't do a bad rendition of "Ain't That a Kick in the Head".

Sharon Osbourne caused a stir with her comments to Rebecca Loos who sang a dreadful duet with James Hewitt - appropriately "Addicted to Love".

Karyn I know, I so wanted Chris Moyles to be crap, he is getting so big headed on radio one,but he was brilliant ,I couldn't knock him, hope he is just as good tonight.

As for Sharon Osbourne, I'm glad it went out live, those two , James Hewitt , and Rebecca, famous for what, sleeping with famous people, they should have gone out last night.

Tina - I don't really know much about Chris Moyles except for what little I have seen on the TV. I thought his dancing was hilarious and he should have gone through on that alone!

James Hewitt and Rebecca Loos will be kept in for the humiliation factor, the public will want to keep seeing Sharon especially humiliate Rebecca Loos - they certainly are not kept in because of their singing ability! Nor are they popular with the British public, although I do think they think they are back again because the public like them

I still love Matt though He is soooo smiley and I am biased, always love a rugby player!

Glad Gillian went out though, I don't think my ears could have coped with another onslaught of her singing!

The Chefs are great entertainment - I love the name "Bake That"!

The British comedian Pater Kay has a couple DVD's out in England. My relatives in Manchester sent a few of them to us. Hilarious!!!!!

Most Americans dont find the humor, but I thought he was brilliant.

Taylor Peter Kay is superb, his "Live from the Manchester Apollo" dvd is hilarious! I love him. His TV adverts for beer here are excellent too. He makes me laugh just to look at him.

Peter Kay is the best, he makes jokes about everyday thing, things that you can relate to, he is sooooooo funny.

I loved the one when he said he gave his grandparents his old video recorder, and when he called round they were stood in the kitchen, as they didn't want to make any noise over what they were recording LOL, you need to hear him really

He also did a great song for Charity, Is this the way to Amarillo with Tony Christie, for Children in Need.

The Amarillo song is a classic.

I loved it when Peter was talking about dancing at weddings, hilarioius, especially when he was saying how people start to dance before they even hit the floor.

The Christmas chairs hit home with me, our house is like that at Christmas, everyone at different heights!

Karyn , there are too many to mention, the Wedding Reception, with the kids sliding across the floor on their knees, classic, the Dad saying Garlic Bread, Cheese cake LOL, ya gotta watch to know what we are on about and yeah you're right about the Christmas chairs ,soo true, he has got a really good eye(and memory) for picking up just normal regular things and seeing the funny side.

I remember the one when he is downstairs watching Bullseye and his sister is upstairs taping Top Of the pops, I remember doing that, when you had to hold the mic up to the radio, and not anyone even breath, other wise it would record LOL, brilliant
