Don't hold your breath

The correct name of the award is The Medal Of Honor. Those who receive it are called "recipients", not "winners".

There is no reason to expect it would ever be licensed or released for replication for collectors.

What makes you think Nancy would know anything about this?

The Medal

Actually the award for civilians is called the Congressional Gold Medal.
It is voted on by both houses of Congress and signed by the president.
It begins as any other bill and goes through all the channels to become
the law of the land. It takes an Act of Congress. That's why it's called
the Congressional Gold Medal. At least that's what we were told.

The Medal of Honor is presented only to members of the military.

The Presidential Medal of Freedom

Nancy should know about this one, which is considered the highest Civilian Award. It was bestowed on Frank in 1985.

At the moment, there is a congressional groundswell for a posthumous medal to be awarded to Jackie Robinson. Plans are already underway for his daughter to accept this long overdue recognition.

Congress Delivered at Last

In a private ceremony, Sharon Robinson, Jackie's daughter accepted the Congressional Gold Medal on her father's behalf.
What a great day for America! At last we have honored one of the greatest human beings ever born here - a man who made America a better place than it had been before.

I'm proud to have seen him, met him, and to have played a small part in making this happen via an ongoing campaign. Ladies and gentlemen of the congress, my father thanks you, my grandfather thanks you, and I thank you.
