On August 3, 1970, Dinah Shore returned to series television, with her daily NBC talk/variety program, Dinah's Place (1970-1974). Six weeks into its run, Frank visited her show to share his recipe for "fresh tomato sauce." The new series received considerable promotion in the press, including the following article which appeared in the September 4, 1970 issue of The Sumter Daily Item (South Carolina).

Here are some fun clips from the September 9, 1970 episode, in which Frank and Dinah cook (first clip)...

Eventually, Dinah would include Frank's recipe in her 1971 cookbook, Someone's In The Kitchen With Dinah.

Oh, I love that. Thank you for posting.

I love those alpaca golf sweaters too. I have two, which I've had for a very long time, but they're impossible to get here in the UK now.

Especially if you live in the UK and have to pay a high shipping charge from the U.S. plus a customs charge. And they all seem to be made for the larger man these days - I'm only a little fellow. They're not available from any UK source.
