I really like the fast arrangement and it's great seeing Frank and the musicians perform the song on the TV special A Man And His Music Part II. I also like the other arrangements on the TV special, especially the ones that use an organ... the version of That's Life is my favorite.

I'm wondering if the use of the organ in the album, so prominant, was influenced at all by the then-current use in some pop/rock arrangements
The organ gives the album a unique sound, unlike any other Sinatra album. Using the organ was great idea by Nelson... it worked so well.

No...honestly. I picked it out all by my little ole self because I've been wearing out the Ipod with it. And even my musically gifted son loves the way Nelson laid out the arrangements.

Even today (yesterday) I was driving him over to pick up his sax which needed repair and he was fascinated by how Nelson layered his arrangement on "Call Me". I'm telling ya it's true so help me.

And even though I jumped the gun, unintentionally, I must admit that I have chosen a wonderful album for a February discussion.

But that's the idea, Mike. See the video clip I just referenced:

Bob is 100% correct.

Now I must go to the Nile and cleanse myself.

Nancy I love watching you and your Dad singing this, you both look like you are having such a fun time, a real Dad and his daughter moment.

Yup. I also like his interpretations of Eddie Cantor's Yes Sir, That's My Baby.

Rick, I appreciate the shout out.
Martin, there's no need for a second Stranger to accompany me.
When I listen to this cd, I'm beside myself.

Anyone see what I did there? Anyone?

I see what you did there, Jim.

I often exclaim in response to the question..."how's it going?"..."I'm twins".

The follow-up question is..."what"?...."I'm twins, I'm beside myself."

Usually a snicker, a snort or an expletive comes next from the inquisitor.

Could I suggest "Francis A. and Edward K" for February?
