    NY Pops to salute FS at Carnegie Hall

    The New York Pops will present its 27th birthday concert and gala, The Best Is Yet To Come: Celebrating the Legacy of Frank Sinatra, May 3 at Carnegie Hall.

    Music director Steven Reineke will lead the famed orchestra in a concert of Sinatra's greatest hits, hosted by Liz Smith. Special guests for the evening will include Frank Sinatra, Jr. as well as Broadway's Cheyenne Jackson, Tony winner Michael Cerveris, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Tony nominee John Tartaglia as well as "Ugly Betty" star Michael Urie.

    Except for Frank Jr., it sounds like an unusual mix for a Frank Sinatra tribute.
