Here is the team cap. I took one with the flash and one without. Neither one is very good but you can get the idea. I was sitting too close to it I'm afraid.

I should probably mention the title of the show will be changed after the Atlanta run and I'm not sure what it will be but I'll let you know.

Everything is so tentative right now because this all may end with Atlanta so nothing is being done on a large scale. We have to keep our fingers crossed that there will be other opportunities in other cities. Looks like Toronto may be the next one but it's hard to say. And of course the big dream is New York. This is an extremely difficult business, the theatre.

Funny how nobody is commenting on the music. It's an amazing list of songs. Where is everybody anyway.

The write up should go far to help take the show else where.

If it makes it to New York which I hope it does, I'm booking a seat next to you Rhoda!!!!

What a fantastic review in the NYT!!

A lot of folks I know have either gone or are going to see it. I'm still walking on air from the whole experience!

Not that it matters much, but why is the title of the show going to be changed?

Great review!
Quote:
The phrasing, the sensitivity to lyrics, the emotional timbre in the voice are so ingrained in the memory banks of many that to use an imitator would court derision.
So true!

Another one: Sinatra ‘arias’ inspire Twyla Tharp
Quote:
“Come Fly With Me” is her fourth Sinatra tribute, and there’s a reason she keeps coming back to his music.

“When he’s singing these songs, they are not really pop songs. He is doing them as arias. He’s seeing himself as an actor. And the emotion he generates through these songs is much more to the point of why he’s so popular than the lyrics themselves. It’s how he sings the lyrics.”
I look forward to seeing this!

Wow what wonderful review! (they could have mentioned Mr.S a bit more) And for the NY Times critic to go to Atlanta and see it twice...Let's hope and pray it gets to Broadway..I bet it was so much fun to watch it with Twyla Tharp..Great news...Amy

When did Frank record Air Mail Special?

So only Franks vocals were played and a live band replaced the actual band right?

Great track list too, were all songs played in their entirity?

Hope this comes to Philly or NY soon.

He didn't. I assume there are some non-Sinatra instrumental dance band numbers in the program, such as "Air Mail Special," "Jumpin' At The Woodstock," "Take Five," and "Whirlybird."

I'd settle for once, preferably in this lifetime!!

The descriptions remind me of the London Palladium show several years ago. Absolutely captivating.

Let's hope this review gets the ball rolling for a US tour.
