Frequently, they'll do "5 for $50" deals, or "3 for $45" deals (last 3-fer was this month as a back-to-school special).Sometimes, they just give 15% off everything or select titles. They often feature free shipping during sales (but they do charge sales tax).
Thanks Dave. I'll have to check that out too.

I ordered a copy from the WB Shop and watched it Friday night. That beautiful FS smile is on full display in this one and, for that, it was great. It's not his greatest movie by a long shot but, I enjoyed it. It's cute and you can really tell he had a fun time while he was filming it.

FYI for anyone else interested in this movie, Warner archive is having a 25% off sale with free shipping through 11-21-11. Dirty Dingus Magee is currently $14.95!

Okay, please people, or better yet, haters! This is a camp masterpiece. This is a very funny and very off the wall movie, and it totally works. Sure it's a mess, but guess what, that's what makes it special. It's got so much fun stuff going for it, and right in the middle is Frank, having the time of his life! Plus this movie is very sexy.
For you adventurous types, give this one a try.

The Unvoice is right. This has everything you want in a movie called "Dirty Dingus Magee" starring Frank Sinatra. It doesn't take itself seriously and is silly fun from beginning to end.

I don't think you even have to be adventurous, Pedro. It's great fun and certainly no sillier than some of the crazy movies Hollywood churns out today.

I don't think so, Matt, but I'm not at home to check my copy. If no one else answers, I'll let you know in a few days.

Hi Matt, I just checked my DVD and, it does not have subtitles. Sorry if that's not good news for you.

Dina, thank you for checking your DVD! Yes, it is much easier for me to watch a movie with subtitles as we are familiar with this here in the Netherlands.
Now I just have to pump up the volume to hear everything, so I will buy it anyway! Thanks again!

Anne Jackson -- one of my very favorite actresses! She and Eli Wallach have one of the great show-biz marriages!
