Lobby card....Sergeants 3...

I just picked up a lobby poster on this very elusive movie with Sinatra and his "rat pack'...it's a real find with Sinatra, Dino, and Peter Lawford with weapons in hand shooting out at the Indians..
This movie has a great cast which includes Sinatra and the entire rat pack [Sammy Davis jr. and Joey Bishop] plus Henry Silva, Buddy Lester, the Crosby Brothers and Ms Ruta Lee....It would so nice to see this movie which was produced by Sinatra and probably owned by Sinatra Enterprises released to the public on DVD so us fans can see the blast the guys were having in this film.
If "Double Dynamite" found it's way to the commercial market, Sergeants 3 can't be a disappointment...just my opinion...Joe...

Sammy on Sergeants 3.....

Came across this piece that Sammy Davis jr. said on the movie Sergeants 3 that forum members might find interesting...
Sammy recalled, "Ocean's Eleven was a lot of fun, but i think Sergeants 3 was the best film we ever did together. It was a good story with a lot of fine points, and we packed it with action".
With the huge popularity of the "Rat Pack" in the last couple of years, i'll never understand why this film sits in someone's movie vault......Joe..

It never came out on video. I am not aware of any plans yet to release it. Hopefully it and "The Joker Is Wild" will eventually be available.

Sergeants Three

Chris,

I also look forward to the release of Sergeants Three one of these days, as well as other movies. It would be great. Nancy says some concerts will be released. I'm looking forward to it.

Any video or DVD of "Sargeant's Three" or "Joker" is a pirate.

Thanks, that is why I asked the question.

If was never released then it has to be a pirate.

Is S3 ever shown on TV?

Thats why mine looks so terrible. It even has a label on it, I never knew it was a pirated version. Its barely watchable. Just like Sarbo.

It has not been seen in years.

Just like an intelligent comment from Phil.

Chris, I can't say anything about US TV programmes, but over here in Europe, "Sergeant's Three" gets screened now and then (every 2-3 years I should say).

I don't think it's much of a serious film, but it might have some appeal re the recent "Rat Pack Revival" wave.

Bernhard.
