At the semi annual Sinatra Social Society dinner held on July 18 a beautiful crystal flame was presented by Ed Stasny who is the President of the SSS. Merril Kelem, Franks security, accepted the award for Frank JR. The award read:
Frank Sinatra JR
Thank you for keeping the flame alive of the great American songbook.

The Sinatra Social Society wanted to thank Frank JR for all his many musical talents. Writing, arranging, conducting and of course his singing. Merrill took the award and was to Fed x it to Frank. I hope it arrived unharmed.

I also had 500 orange cocktail napkins made up with a black fedora and Francis Albert Sinatra and under his name Dec.12, 1915 to May 14, 1998.

Our group has 2 Sinatra dinners per year. A Summer Wind party and a dinner as close to 12/12 as possible. If anyone in the New Jersey area would like to join us for an evening of all Sinatra music, please send me a message. The more the merrier.
