Bing's home town. Frankie's been there to perform - and to reminisce about Bing.

Cache Creek Casino

My friends and I just got back from a spectacular weekend touring the backroads of California and stopping at the Cache Creek Casino
Brooks, CA to have another fabulous evening with the master, Frank Sinatra Jr. House sold out, we had to work to find an extra ticket for my friend who came at the last min.

Frank gets better and better, and he has always been so good. I love some of the quirky choices and of course terrific standards. The evening could have gone on and on for us. Fans sitting near us, college kids, were having a grand time.
Thanks for another great show. So where do the tapes of these shows go? There sure were a lot of VIPs waiting to meet Frank after the show. Somehow I didnt get the secret code this time. Maybe LV I'll have it figured out.

On the way home we stopped at the Forrestierre Underground Garden in Fresno, fasinatin' and then we toured an awesome display of wildflowers from I-5 to the coast on HWY41. What a lovely spring go visit old friends.
Our San Luis Obispo Little Theatre just did A Sinatra Tribute, I'm sure our college kids would love to attend a Sinatra does Sinatra.

Frank Sinatra Jr.'s Vegas memories
As he rehearses for a Michel Legrand tribute, the iconic singer's son recalls the sights and sounds no longer there.

Reporting from Las Vegas
"Something very strange happened," says Frank Sinatra Jr. He is talking about the booking for his three- night stand at the Suncoast that finishes Sunday night, "Sinatra Sings Sinatra." A veteran recording artist and singer in his own right, Sinatra fronts a 20-piece band that offers songs that conjure images not just of his dad but of a bygone era of Vegas history: "I've Got You Under My Skin," "One for My Baby," "Luck Be a Lady."

Of course, these are different times. Sinatra, 66, finishes the story of his surprise. "They only wanted us for two nights. Suddenly they called us and asked, 'Would you be willing to play a third date?" He laughs, happily: "I said, 'Yes, I would.' "

Sinatrajr. @ Suncoast

Mr. Sinatra's opening night at the Suncoast blew me away! I have seen him dozens of times, but the Friday night show man was he on. He sang the hell out of "Hallelujah, I Love Her So". That type of song was meant for Frank jr. to sing.

Suncoast, Las Vegas, Thanks Frank you classy guy.

My friends and I had a terrific time at both the Sat and Sunday night shows. Someone at our table said "these were our parents songs, we grew up with them and Sinatra Jr makes them our songs.

Still love the opening songs. And the history of the industry is the icing on the cake.
Now that I'm retired I have time to chase a star and you are the one for my friends and I. Classy and cool.

Loved the Suncoast location. We spent Saturday at the incredible Red Rock Canyon, hiking the beautiful desert. On the way the wildflower display was spectacular and the fresh dusting of snow on the way home. Fabulous trip Night and Day.

Back to the farm catching up on chores, The Lady is a Tramp. Now we have a reason to go to Vegas, its Franks friends and his terrific show which is ever better. Love the scripts.

Hope to see another show in the fall. Off to the beach for the summer. Giving my good friend tickets to the Turlock show for her BD. She has raised 15 kids 4 of her own and 11 adopted and fostered over 50. She deserves to be Queen for A Day and a special night with Mr. Sinatra is just the thing. I've got a farm workers conference to go to or I'd be there too.

Never been to Florida before now Franks tour gives me a reason to go. Love the beach.
Edie of DS would be so proud of us all. Actualizing our dreams. Saw R.Shaws work at the deYoung and M.Tritt in wind energy and my little farm. Dreams come true when we are given the opportunity to find passion. Frank has the passion

What a great way to start my retirement.
Making memories with friends, nice.

Photo with Frank

A few fans got lucky at a smaller venue, I can't remember where at the moment. Following Frank is a new hobby of mine, so I've been to a few shows and planning on more. Love to travel.
Frankie has always been good to his fans when he can. Lately his shows have been to sold out crowds and I think we are asking a lot of him. He has had "meet and greet" with his fans in the past.

You'll just have to ask around when you get there.
You will LOVE the show. His opening songs can be quite a kick. And the rest of the show is just incredible.

I'm a groupie now. Never cared for crowds, but I'll have to get used to it. Frankie is the best and sitting in the audience I notice he has a lot of classy fans. The whole front row is filled with gorgeous yet restrained girls. He is a crowd pleaser and we love it so.

The fans are multigenerational, grandparents bring their kids, grandkids and a good time is had by all. The evenings are something to look forward too.

Thanks Frankie for being the best
Love you and your fans

Thanks Shana,

I'm gonna see how it pans out and approach only if the situation presents itself. I want to get a picture of him and my Mom together for a "special keepsake" for life - if you know what I mean. I'm so antsy to see a Sinatra in real life I can't tell ya - it's crazy stuff!

oh I can't compete with gorgeous yet restrained girls so it's probably a no go on any photo ops with him........we'll probably just hang back and leave when the show is over in that case...I don't do crowded conditions anymore, especially with my precious Mommy she's 88 and needs to be watched out for in situations like that. Thanks for lettin me know Felicity. We'll just watch from a distance then.

Angel,

I am so excited for you. You will love Frankie and the show!! Just found my tickets from the last show I saw in Naples, Fl. , about 3 years ago. It happened to be my birthday week. Can't wait for him to return to Florida.

Frankie has a new team supporting him, as I learned when he visited here in November - it's best to just enjoy the show and let the man relax afterwards - after all, he really does put a LOT into these shows, the prep, the travel, the rehearsal, and of course, the performance!

Why do you say that, Jud'? Frankie has always been very cordial with guests and will take time for a chat. You've seen him since I have, so maybe things have changed, but I'd be surprised! I hope this doesn't discourage Angel from getting a few backstage minutes after the show!
