Sinatra Jr. in Milwaukee 11/2/12

All,

Just bought my tickets to see Sinatra Jr. in Milwaukee on November 2, 2012. If you have not seen him live you need to go to this concert, he is such an amazing entertainer. And if you have seen him before and live close to Milwaukee I am sure I will see you there.

I have a question on when someone is the right age to go to a concert. My son is going to be 5 in February and I am debating if I should take him to this concert. I know he is young, but he loves Sinatra's music and I would love for him to be able to see Frankie, but am not sure if 5 is too young. I was able to get front row so I know he would love it. He sits great through Disney on ice and Disney plays, but has never been to a concert. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Michael

There is probably no age restriction.

Ditto here, this Friday night, 8:00 P.M. at Borgata!

P.S. Michael, all of our four children saw FS Sr., perform "live," several times. The youngest was about 5 years old the first time. I don't think you'll have any problems having your son see the show at that age, and believe me, he'll remember!

Michael,

I like that fact you're taking your son. He will never forget it I'm sure. Start them young.

Michael....

I cannot agree more with everyone else! Take your son to the concert and enjoy! Let me tell you first hand that exposure to Sinatra music at a young age will undoubtedly pay dividends for years to come! I have a 12 year old and an 8 year old and they both are Sinatra fans (Frank Sr. and Frank Jr!). Its funny....when they are with their Mom, they listen to whatever top 40 craps she has on in the car. When they get in my van, my older one automatically knows to turn the XM/Sirius dial to the Siriusly Sinatra channel. We play a game where I make them tell me what decade the Sinatra song playing came from. They are actually getting quite good at it too!

Anyway, take your boy to a nice dinner, get him to the concert.....make sure he goes to the bathroom before the music starts and you should be good to go! I know he will like it!!!

Let us know next month how it went!!

Dave

That's funny, Dave, and so true! I love the game you play with your boys. Anything that keeps them interested in the music is a good thing!

Frankie tomorrow night!!!

If you are close to Milwaukee and have nothing planned tomorrow night there are still tickets available to see Frankie. My son and I are very excited. He's 4 and is trying to snap like Sinatra Can't wait to see his reaction to his 1st live concert.

What a Night!!

What a night!! Frankie sounded amazing. He changed the song list a little from the last time and sang a few different songs than usual and I loved it. My son was such a good boy. He enjoeyed his first concert and has tried to snap, he's getting close to doing it. He keeps telling eveyone he saw Frank Sinatra. I'm so glad I took him.

1st Show

Great story-I think kids should be exposed to good music as soon as possible-my daughter was about that age when she would dance to "Under My Skin" to as she called him Fank Inatra-hope you both had a great time!

That's great Michael! Do keep playing the music for him and teach him to appreciate all the great singers and songs.

Mark - That is so funny that your daughter called him Frank Inatra. Both my kids call him that.

Nancy - There are only 2 things my kids allow in the car (yes, they are the bosses, a movie of their choice or Siriusly Sinatra. It's so great now when Frankie is on. My son Anthony will tell my daughter "Mia, I saw him in concert. I was a good boy there." Love it.
