I`m not afraid of Mercury at all.

Bohemian Rhapsody should be out.

My, what's wrong with Bohemian Rhapsody?

Maybe "Wayne's World" killed it.

The 70's sure were weird - ..

Glam Rock , Slade, Abba.. etc Led Zeppelin...ELO and Queen.. fantastic groups - one tends to forget they were in the same decade as the Bay City Rollers

Aside from a period when California was new to me, I find the seventies so forgettable. When they do these CD compilation infomercials on TV, I find it incredible just how tasteless and mediocre they really were. The only thing the entertainment industry "accomplished" during that period was the decentralized, specialized breakdown of the big picture and common ground among consumers. In so doing they may have shot themselves in the foot.

Perhaps OPEC and the petro price hike sent the record companies from vinyl to CDs. The death of the 45 rpm single was not a good thing.

Yuk...

Tina, I absolutly cannot stand listening to those loud electric guitars and the screaming, rough voices. I can't take it.

Everyone's different, Nancy. If I were to listen to music that is popular in my high school, it would be rap or hip-hop or something like that. I think those are the same.
