This quality is then defused through displacement and inversion; the midget being too "small" sexually for a "normal" woman, whereas the very concept of normality is one the film deconstructs in a variety of ways that can leave no viewer indifferent.

"She took his hand and led him through the glass doors onto a wooden deck where baskets of ferns and bougainvillea hung from wooden beams." (The Chamber - John Grisham). It's next to me 'cause I'm selling it. It's a 1st/1st

Closest book - ZAGAT - NYC Restaurant Guide!
On those "too tired-to-cook nights" folks hankering for a "non power dinner" head for this neighborhood trattoria trio for "safe bargain" eats "boring decor" and " hit-or-miss" service come with the territory!

Gregory, why page 56 and why the fifth sentence?
From "Catch 22" "Captain Flume was obsessed with the idea that Chief White Halfoat would tiptoe up to his cot one night and slit his throat open for him from ear to ear." Joseph Heller's novel is a play which is in previews in NY. I saw it this past weekend (recommended) and was just looking at parts of the book. Nelson Algren said of the book, "the best American novel to come out of World War II...the best American novel to come out of anywhere in years." |
