Elvis? GET OUT OF HERE!
NO ELVIS, NO ELVIS, NO ELVIS
YES DINO, YES DINO, YES DINO I'm a big Dean guy. Hey any of you like his old partner Jerry Lewis? Funniest man alive, yes he is still alive. But ol' Dino was pretty darn funny himself. Big Sammy fan as well, that guy could sing, dance, impersonate, EVERYTHING! He's great. |

OMG!
DINO! DINO! DINO! DINO!
What love! Dino is so charming/funny/wonderful/my best friend. I may be kidding on that last one. And yes Jerry was FUNNY. They were such a great team although Dean makes me laugh no matter what. I wish I had money so I could buy the collection of the Dean Martin Variety show. And omg the roasts. Ok I'm sounding-geeky. I also love Sammy. Teeheehee Dean and Sam singing Sam's Song together! Elvis is also a legend of course.... and who doesn't love Bing Crosby, Louis Armstrong, Danny Kaye, Humphrey Bogart... everyone... and stepping aside from singers (Which I've already kinda done) if I may...ahem... JAMES DEAN. Maybe thats just me... I dunno. ~Julia |

Actually...
I only like Frank from that time for some reason...
But I do love Peggy Lee! And the beatels are good too,but I can't say I hear them all the time. As for more recent singers-I think Clay Aiken has a great voice. You're probably sick of him in America but he's pretty new to me-he's not well known in Israel. |

Hi Noa,
Peggy Lee did do some good records in her time. But for me all the other old singers from that time weren't really good, except for: Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Bing Crosby. Clay Aiken is the rage for some of my friends. I also know many people who like the Beatles, I have yet to hear there music so I can't say wether I like them or not. |

Hi everybody!
...first I'm wondering if here's the member who's younger than me. I've found no-one...
Well... things that you're talking about are very interesting. I love nearly everything that is "retro". Twenties - jazz at the begining...Have anyone seen Chicago? I think it's quiet good show... especialy "The Cell Block Tango"... Thirties - young Frankie Boy starts his career and drives young gals crazy 'bout him... Fourties - the second world war... but also irresistable swing and a lot of great movies and film star... Cary Grant, Clark Gable, Katherin Hepburn, Ingrid Bergman... unfortunately in my country is very difficult to get this films... Fifties - Frank's second "wave" of popularity... and also new generation of rock'n'roll... and my favourite Burt Lancaster, Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn... Sixties - The Beatles... an unforgetable legend... I love The Greace and Dirty Dancing... Seventies - Hippies... a lot of new music styles... Ol' Blue Eyes remines popular and becomes the Legend of twentieth century... We're also talking 'bout Smookey and Dino... I non't know too much about Sammy Davis Jr., only from my book about Frankie and there're mostly things about their friendship. And that's the same w/Dean Martin. I've heard him singing once and seen him in only film - Some Came Running. Frank is absolutely perfect and "too marvelous roe words" but I like Bama Dillert very very much. His character, style... the way of thinking... simply everything. Dean Martin was a great actor! Catie PS for Noa: Hi friend, we haven't met you at the Quiz for long time, so missing you! Have a nice day and come!
