United destroy Juve (again)

4 past Celtic, 3 past Club America and now the demolition of Juventus, Manchester Uniteds pre season warm up moves up into Premiership gear as United 100% record in the USA continues, bring on Barca (and Ronaldhino) Another record breaking season looks likely for the Red Devils................

Arsenal will win the Charity (Community?) Shield.

And i think it has to be Chelsea for the title.

Though beware Newcastle this year. And i would love it if they beat them, love it.

Red Devils Forever

The only thing Chelsea will get out of this season is a massive wage bill, Arsenal proved last season they haven't the stamina for a proper campaign that includes Europe, Newcastle will find it hard to keep up their momentum but I hope that they do, I think the team to watch this year (and I hate to admit it) will be the Kopites, Liverpool without the distractions of the Champions League and a couple of very good (and economical signings-No one can buy the premiership Adam despite what the Russian Mafia of the Kings Road may think) will be a real threat. There is only one team for the title though and that is Manchester United. Only days to go now, and I for one cant wait for the pretenders to be cut down to size.

The US Tour

Thanks Tony for the pictures mate,

as our friends stateside have witnessed in the last 2 weeks or so, a Beckham-less United have destroyed Juventus, Celtic and Barcalona in challenging pre-season matches, all seems well with the world at Old Trafford and just as the season is about to start too. Young Mr. Cole looks like he's off to the Bridge to make a few bob for very little return, then again anyone with a modicum of talent can appear to shine at London clubs, at United he probably would have had to work for a place anyway. Ruud is on top form though as his outings in America seem to prove. Bring on the season and let the best team triumph, Im sure we will.....

And we never ever wonder as to why everyone hates us, its just pure envy.

Yes

The £6.6m boy Cole now joins Chelsea along with Glen Johnson,Geremi,Wayne Bridge, Damien Duff & probably Veron.

Just where will these guys fit in although playmaker Cole should not have a problem, I always liked him

Tims the man

Had a good game despite his mistake, looks like Barthez will struggle to get his place.

Paul Scholes was superb surely to go in the `Reds`history books as one of the greatest ever.

Well played Reds.

And so to Jeffers along with Vierra probably the first man to be sent off again this coming season

1 day to go

Adam & Tony,

Only a little over 24 hours to go and Season 2003/04 will begin in earnest, hope to see this thread moving apace once the first ball is kicked, hate to admit it but Chelsea looked pretty effective the other night (the new signings gelling together pretty well Duff espescially good), Reidy's gonna have his work cut out at Elland Road though, Barthez's mistakes against Stoke may well have cost him first team football at United, cracking game from Keegan's lads last night (Man City in Europe, whats the world coming to)

The season started last weekend.

And i really dont see how you could have a dislike for Manchester City - you can only understand that rivalry if you are actually from Manchester and supporting United.

And there isnt many of them around.

Understanding Rivalry

One understands the rivalry by attending the derby games, yes there are actually people that go to matches, in fact i'm off to see the Bolton game at Old Trafford this afternoon, hopefully we'll get a better result than last season (not a bad side at all Bolton, difficult to understand their annual relegation battles), the season that matters starts here, good luck to all thread users and their teams, an interesting Premiership awaits.
