Rockin' Robyn???

I'm thinking more along these lines:

Open the Door, Richard
1947
Words by "Dusty" Fletcher And John Mason
Music by Jack Mcvea And Dan Howell

Open the door, Richard,
Open the door and let me in,
Open the door, Richard,
Richard why don't you open the door?

Open the door, Richard,
Open the door and let me in.
Open the door, Richard,
Richard, why don't you open the door?

I'm standing here diggin' in my hip-pocket,
And I'm stand-in' here scratch-in' in my pants-pocket,
And I'm standing here grop-in' in my coat pocket,
And I just can't find that key.

Open the door, Richard,
Open the door and let me in,
Open the door, Richard,
Richard why don't you open the door?
Open the door?

Frank Sinatra and Nelson Riddle had a nice collection scheduled for a 1977 album project which never materialized:

Some more...

Danny Boy. There are many fine versions of this song including those by Bing, Belafonte and Tony Bennett.

When Joanna Loved Me (one of Tony Bennett's best records. Frank sang it in concert).

Linda, a hit for Buddy Clark. Frank recorded it in '77, available on the 20 CD box.
