I'm presently going through the first series of Peter Gunn (love the music) and Soap (which has me laughing out loud). I recently caught an FS Bulova TV show from 1951 - the one where he's sporting a little mustache - very enjoyable.

Hi Nancy. Was that the 1967 film? I think maybe she also featured in an episide of 77 Sunset Strip, which I'd love to see again but can't locate.

I have to confess that I'm not familiar with the Blues Brothers music. But I adore the Henry Mancini soundtrack albums. There are a couple of other especially good albums with Peter Gunn connections, if anyone's interested. Lola Albright's "Dreamsville", recorded in 1959 with Mancini and featuring vocal versions of some of the incidental music, has recently been reissued on cd and is well worth checking out. Linda Lawson featured in an early episode in 1958, as a nightclub singer, and a couple of years later recorded an incredibly good album (her only album, I think) with Marty Paitch titled "Introducing Linda Lawson" which has also recently been reissued.

Oh how I love Burns and Allen.

Bea Benaderet's (Blanche's) giddy hysterical giggle is a nice touch.

George's expectation of Gracie's double-entendres, always a step ahead of her. Gracie's goofiness somewhat tied to her San Francisco origin. Who knew back then that the infant johnofphilly would not only one day get that, but would have a history of living it as well...

" Bright Lights "

Italian television programs of the past and often transmit a program to which you are very fond of a show that was aired on Saturday evening, was entitled "Bright Lights". There were many Italian and foreign guests, many famous names from the entertainment world, I love to see how it was "easy" but the scenery commendable skill of the guests.

I also love the pdcomedy.com web. A terrific opportunity to see Groucho's wit, and why he was an American comedic institution!

Their show is so funny! I'd never seen it before, but have been enjoying watching it lately. They've been playing it on a new channel called Antenna TV.

Didn't Bea also do the voice of Betty Rubble on the Flinstones?
