Currently I have The Muppet Show in my DVD. It's the one with Edgar Bergan and Charlie McCarthy. Tell me to grow up if you want but I love that show and especially Edgar Bergan and Charlie McCarthy.

It's about to be

Black Friday A 1940 Karloff and Lugosi vehicle (Bela was apparently hypnotised during filming to add realism to him suffering claustrophobia in one particular scene where he's locked in a cupboard)

Cinema's Most Famous Hungarian

in 1935's "The Raven"

Bela exudes probably the most menace he ever did on film as the obsessed surgeon who has the pleasant "hobby" of building Poe inspired torture devices in his spare time, well that's when he's not knocking out spooky tunes on the enormous church pipe organ that so many of us loonies seem to have knocking around at home, and as if all that weren't enough, a disfigured Karloff ambles around to add to the mix.

Fritz Lang's "M". (1933)

Fantastic film with a superb acting of Peter Lorre. It really passed the test of time and Criterion did a great job in restoration on the film.

Oh, I watched that earlier today in fact. I can't agree with you enough on the Criterion restoration. You've got to admit that Lang truly was a genius

However, I just finished watching, "The Asphalt Jungle", directed by John Huston and staring Sterling Hayden and Sam Jaffe. Four Stars.

My DVD player

In my DVD player right now is part of the box set of the Tony Orlando And Dawn show... it's so good!!! So many great songs, and the outfits Joyce and Telma have, a freakin fashion parade! I highly recommend this to anyone who loves good 70's music.
