I totally agree! In fact, not only is this my favorite movie of all time, but (IMO) I believe this is the greatest movie ever made!!

Jean Pierre Jeunet's

"Un Long Dimanche De Fiançailles"

Probably the most poetic piece of recent cinema I can remember

Hi David, I just noticed your new avatar. Very nice

Soon to be in my DVD player, if I could ever find a moment to sit down, is "The Constant Gardener" they finally had one in stock at the video store. Ralph Fiennes is an incredible actor, I've been looking forward to it.

The Front with Woody Allen. It opens with Frank singing Young at Heart.

Spartacus

with an interesting array of bonus features including a short film from 1950 highlighting the plight of the persecuted Hollywood Ten of blacklisted writers one of whom was of course the writer of Sinatra's 1945 short about tolerance "The House I Live In", Albert Maltz.

I loved it as well. It was one of my favorite movies last year, right behind Chicken Little

Richard

There are so many movies in this thread I've wanted to see and never got around to it. I should rent.

Right now I'm watching one of my all time favorites... Gaslight.

I....ah.....missed Chicken Little. I don't know how that happened.

The last movie I watched was "Lady In A Cage" with Olivia de Havilland, Ann Southern and a very young James Caan. Very disturbing, very twisted, hard for me to watch.

You have to add Chicken Little to must see list, Susan.

I will immediately add it to my Blockbuster queue. Maybe you should take it to the Hollywood party.

I think I'll skip the Chicken Little party.

Blockbuster just shipped "Barefoot in the Park" I haven't seen it in years.

I LOVE that one! I've got it around here somewhere. I think I'll watch this weekend. After tomorrow I am off for three whole days!

Enjoy your weekend Richard

I on the other hand still have a shift later today, so will now be drawing the curtains, getting a nice cup of rosie lee and curling under the covers to "A L I E N" (alone in bed no-one can hear you snore)

Nitey nite everyone
