Surely the photographers who did these great cover photos had their jobs made easier by virtue of that plain fact.

The photo of Nancy & Lee outdoors for some reason, by its atmosphere, reminds me of many summer yesterdays.

Well said Will!

Are these from Lea's UK site or do you have them all in your collection? I didn't know there was so much of my "stuff" out there. It's fun to see it all in one place.

(Don't be surprised if Robert steals this thread for my website.)

I did have a laugh at the bottle of Chivas(?) on the table in the picture with Dad. I think that was because Dean drank scotch and we were filming at his house!
Loving the pics Nancy - stunning!

It does look like it might be Chivas Regal on the table (which is owned by the company I work for) but I can't quite make it out

In customer training sessions our whisky guys claim it was Frank's favourite whisky but I'm not sure that's entirely true...

For comparison, here are a bottle of Chivas Regal (left) and a cropped enlargement (right) of the French lobby card for the release of Les Inséparables (aka Marriage On The Rocks), which provides a larger image of the photo from the Japanese reissue picture sleeve of "Somethin' Stupid" (from the current blog post at http://nancysinatra.com/blog/).

Chivas was not Frank's favorite but Dean Martin and Lee Hazlewood loved it. Frank was a Jack Daniels man.

That's the one thing I never could figure out about your Father, Nancy. Bourbon is a Southern drink. Vodka for some strange reason is - or was a California drink. But scotch belongs to the East Coast. You simply could not survive in Washington (D.C.) unless you drank scotch and soda.

To sum it up, LOL, it's always been a mystery to me that Frank drank bourbon. I mean, he had such exquisite taste in everything else.

The great thing about quality drinks Joan is that the 'right' drink for you is the one that you like...not necessarily the one from your region (or even country for that matter!)

JD is a great drink (It's Tennessee whiskey and not bourbon by the way) and I'm sure there was a reason he enjoyed it occasionally.

The US is one of our biggest markets for London dry gin as a case in point....I won't mention any brands but one related to the Tower of London is the best

Andrew, this is a fantastic thread! I'm so glad it got the recent bump from Nancy so I could discover it. I love the gorgeous pics of Nancy and the sheer number of international versions of her music is truly amazing. Thanks for all your work putting it together.
