Wonderful, Marty, to put everything together like this.

Brings back a helluvalot of memories, don't it?!

She's the most interactive performer I have ever seen, and her generosity is, in Duke Ellington's parley, "beyond category"!

The "road".

A different concept per era.

Nowadays it includes airplanes.

In the beginning of that, we lost Patsy Cline and Richie Valens.
Nowadays they usually fly in bigger, safer crafts.

Prior to the airplanes, they used the bus.
I just love reading about the big band bus tours of long ago.

Marty

I apologize for not sticking this thread before.

It's exhausting to see these travels all together. Uwe's thread about Vienna and the shows in Budapest and Switzerland too. Is Istanbul in here somewhere?

Sheesh!

I'll have to dig my forum index cards out again, Nancy, and I've just locked them back in the cellar too

but as they say, no trouble at all

in the mean time folks for those that haven't seen them a selection of Nancy's pictures from the trip mentioned in "Bon Voyage Nancy" by Chad

here on Nancy's Website

(added apologies I can't get the link to work as I would have liked however the multitude of photo pages in the "What's New" section make a visit worthwhile folks.)

for those that don't visit our sister site, the photo essays are superb

added : phew those index card boxes are heavy!!! (I really should get a computer one of these days) House Of Blues and other Southern US performances now in place...I hope?

There is also a Hershey Park thread somewhere. I'll find it and bump it up.

Added:

There is also Rochester and a couple of threads with pics that were lost in the great forum crash a couple of years back.

Nancy's calendar link not working?

I notice that Nancy's calendar as well as Frankie's calendar do not have any dates listed, when once their calendars had some events scheduled. Is the calendar link not working or has the events previoulsy listed been canceled?

Thank you.
