It's on it's way to iTunes. We had to create two volumes because there were so many 'before Boots' songs. Volume 2 should be going today. It takes about a week - or maybe two - for them to put the songs on their server.

We're working on the next collection now. The working title is, "Kinda Easy." There are two more, "Kinda Funky" and "Kinda Lush" (all working titles) that we will be sending to iTunes.

There was a competition some time back when we had to guess Nancy's favourite song from this collection....and although I didn't get the right answer, I was privileged to receive an autographed copy of the CD from Nancy herself.

I have really enjoyed listening to all the pre-Boots songs.....they were great, but WOW, Nancy has sure come a long way since those days!

I love these recordings because Nancy takes so many chances with her vocal range and style. You get glimpses of her abilities in terms of the vocal range and styles she employs that really haven't found their way into other recordings. I think Nancy has made mention that at this point in her career, she was proving her technical proficiency and really didn't have a producer that mined her commercial potential. Nancy is truly a vocal chameleon on these recordings. More proof that this lady can do any style she wants.

Gerry - Did I say that? I don't think these recordings proved anything except that I needed to change direction. This is my "oy vey" period.

Whilst I think it was shrewd to change direction at the time, these recordings capture an innocence of the early 60s, that I wasn't alive to witness. I find it quite charming to experience that time through these recordings today.

I just love all the really early Nancy songs I've heard, particularly "Tonight You Belong To Me", "Cufflinks", "To Know Him Is To Love Him", "I See the Moon", "There Goes The Bride" (fabulous song), "In The Wee Small Hours", "One Way".

Oh let's just say I love them all!

Can't wait for itunes to load them up.

A few tracks here I've never heard before. What a fun collection!!!

"Like a girl like me" and "Personality" are the two cuts I had never heard before. I enjoyed them both.
