< oh Nancy you sang Don´t fence me in an old classic from Bing Crosby >

DFME and Tumblin' Tumbleweeds were recorded for the California Girl album but not included.

Nancy, you really recorded, Don't Fence Me In ?

You know what song I'd like to hear you sing? Almost Blue by Elvis Costello. He wrote it for Chet Baker but I think it would suit your voice and style, as well.

The Best Is Yet To Come is in a collection with the working title, Kinda Lush. which is all big orchestral arrangements. (I hate these working titles!)

Yes, Greg. I recorded DFMI in the late '60s for my California collection that became CALIFORNIA GIRL. Disney did not want too many songs on the c.d. so we cut DFMI and Tumblin' Tumbleweeds. They are incomplete and without the sweetening of strings and so forth, but they are fun - if you like a shot of country in your pop.

Nancy

I don't think that you can get any better than a lead vocal with a beautiful orchestral backing and a great arrangement of a standard (or a NEW ... to be... standard) song. Just lovely.

As a vocalist, I would do EXACTLY what FS did. Think deeply about the message in the song. Live it in your mind to the degree that NOTHING ELSE was in there. Then record it. You can't hide, can you, in music?. Your feelings show in the song. If you feel the music it transmits to the listener. You have the ability, the talent. You have lived life to the full and have experienced it all. It will come through in your music.. it DOES come through, I should say.
Lovely.

Almost done but Keith has been working so hard on the London Palladium show (we are making changes) and Frankie's new c.d. that everything of mine got pushed to the back burner.

I swear I feel sorry for him sometimes. We are always pulling him in different directions.

And so goes the life of a Jack Of All Trades and he definitely is that!

I guess I can wait a little while longer.

I too have some of these on singles, Kristian. I'm glad to see WHITE TATTOO included, along with SHE PLAYED PIANO.

Some of the titles I remember seeing performed on TV, such as, HERE, THERE, and EVERYWHERE, HOLLY HOLY (a personal favorite) and some others.

It's exciting that these along with others will soon be available. I can't wait!!

I`m coming home baby.

Hallo Susan.
I am trying to find out how to becoming a member of SIRIUS RADIO, and how to listen to it ON THE RIGHT TIME. I suppose that there is 6-7 hours time difference.

I have heared this song on a bad audio-cassette with Nancy from a concert in 1983, but wish i would hear the recorded version of it.
Please can somebody advise me how to get into SIRIUS.

This is a great record , performed in a GREAT WAY , only wish i had heared it with a perfect quality.

Kristian
