today Art Linkletter will be 96 and Phyllis Diller will be 91. A very Happy Birthday to both of them.

My favorite one-liner of hers.... "I went right from baby fat to middle-age spread... didn't have a good five minutes!"

I met her at a book signing a year or so ago. I sure hope I'm that quick (and look that good!) when I'm her age.

Phyllis Diller was a groundbreaking comedian.... wonderful stuff....

she's even in this very strange move which is all about one (very off color) joke, called 'the aristocrats'. THe movie is not for everyone, no doubt, but in it's own warped way its kind of a 'unified field theory of comedy'......
