Bob has announced his retirement from acting due to that awful Parkinsons Disease. I had the chance to say hello once when he was filming in Woolwich, London, right beside the ferry. A very nice, friendly man. Shame.

All the best to Bob Hoskins, I saw the announcement on the News this evening, a friendly likeable actor, very sad news indeed.

I'm sad to hear the news of his illness and, his retirement.
I've enjoyed him in so many movies: Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Mermaids, Michael, Hollywoodland, etc.
