According to my last information, Jerry is doing GREAT! He has lost about 80 pounds.

Jerry is a good guy, I love the stories about him from Vegas in the 50's. I can't imagine him gone, it wouldn't be the same without the telethon. I saw an old ad in a mag the other day with him and Dean about 1954, talking to a kid in a wheelchair. My god, that was 50 years ago..

Great news about Jerry's weight. I hope he is able to use walking machines like a treadmill, or an eliptical exerciser that similates jogging or running without bouncing hard on his feet, like outdoors running or jogging.

Hey gang, there is only one other person on this planet I love talking about( in a good way) more than Mr. Sinatra, and that's Jerry!! I've been a fan since I was about 7 years old, right after my own father passed away, I was looking for a father figure and found one in Jerry. I have watched him every year since, Nancy, thanks for the update, I'm so glad he is doing well. I look forward to seeing him It will be a great day in this world when we find a cure for this horrible disease, and Jerry and everybody else can do something different on Labor day weekend!! Love to all the Sinatra family, and all my forum buddies Tammy your keeper of the flame.

Jerry Lewis does wonders every Labor Day. I pray there will be a cure soon, and he will start to feel better. The talent was awesome. Please watch and give a little extra this year.

The telethon is over, and while Jerry didn't reach his goal of "a dollar more" they did raise an incredible amount of money that will go toward research and improving the lives of those afflicted with muscular diseases.

It is sad to me and a sorry reflection on our media, that the fact that "regular" folks pulled together and raised about $59.5 million dollars to fight a disease that most don't have personal experience with gets no press. No AP or Reuters reports, no lead story on CNN. The International Fire Fighters raised $20 million - no mention.

We're basically a country of people who help each other, who pull together and assist where and when we can......seems reporting on what divides us is deemed more news worthy. It's tragic what the disease does to children and adults alike, but it's uplifting to see the goodness in those who help, encourage, support and work tirelessly on their behalf.

Nancy says he us doing great. Yes, he is a hell of a fighter. Another talented Jersey boy, right? I have laughed until my stomach hurt over this man. Sometimes I only have to see his face to make me smile..

God bless him. Like Frank, there is much I think Jerry has done behind the scenes that no one will ever know about.

I was elated to see Nancy's message indicating Jerry is doing well. He is just one great individual...Can it really be so many years since Jerry & Dean wowed audiences at the Copa, etc. ? They got their big break from "Skinny" at the 500 Club (where I worked a few summers in my college years)...Out in front of the club they had their handprints (in cement) along with our Guy, Frank. I sure hope & pray that Jerry has many years left & is able to continue with his great work on the telethon. He's "my kind of Frank."...He's one of the few "old pros" left....

....Jerry was on larry King last night and it was great to see Jerry in better health......Lewis told of suffering for over 40 years with pain.....but now that pain has been subsided...glad to hear....and Jerry professed his love of Dino...he says he thinks of Dean everyday.....Jerry will be 80 years old in a year and he sounds great and has lost weight and has a great out-look on life........Jerry is among the Last of the Great Comics still standing....he is also a man who has set an example as a giver...a man who has humbled himself to raise money for his kids........It's not about how much money you have or how many movies you made.....it's about how you have helped the common man that makes you a giant amongst men.......and like Sinatra....Jerry has earned a place at the table of those Giants who gave more than they took.......Jerry , God Bless you my friend.....Your a real Mench!!!!
