Johnny Prophet
He sings 3 of the 13 songs on the "Kiss Me Kate" CD from the Reprise Repertory Theatre set and he is quite good. I found a blog that gives some background on Mr. Prophet posted by Bill Reed: http://people-vs-drchilledair.blogsp...y-prophet.html He is from Rochester, NY graduating from high school in 1940. Do you have his early records? Tell me about them. Larry |

I believe Nancy asked the same question on Nancy For Frank - Show #24. A later blog entry by the same author states:

I'd like to know more about him, too. He seems to be the one great unknown of the Reprise Musical Repertory Theater series. Pity. Excellent voice complimented by terrific Nelson Riddle and Skip Martin arrangements.
I'd be interested in knowing anything further about him, as well.
