That Rodney Dangerfield is doing better? Has any one heard anything.?

A report at topix.net dated Oct. 1:

LOS ANGELES — Rodney Dangerfield, who underwent heart valve replacement surgery on Aug. 25, remains in a coma at UCLA Medical Center, his representatives said Friday. The comedian's condition has not changed since his wife revealed on Sept. 20 that her husband was in a coma, according to the office of Dangerfield's publicist.

Next Sunday on Comedy Channel is a tribute show for Rodney, who passed away almost two years ago. The promo has a couple of one liners from him including: "I drink too much..too much... my urine sample had an olive in it." "No respect, even when I was a kid, my father told me to go in the yard and play hide and go **** yourself."

The Rodney Dangerfield special produced by his daughter and consisting of interviews with 14 major fellow comics and their rememberances is on tonight at 9 EST on the Comedy Channel. Let's give Rodney some respect and tune in (at least TIVO or tape it!)

I recall the last joke on his website, the day of his death, he wrote:

"I bought a cemetary plot, and they said 'There goes the neighborhood!'"

You know my friend Dave Petillo and his father Phil used to make banjos for Rodney Dangerfield's niece, he came in and ordered it himself.
