    Thumbs up

Good question Charlie, most families have pet or affectionate names for each other, I'd love to know Frank's.

I know that great friends called him "Frances"
but that doesn't strike me as being a nickname!.
Dino might have called him "Frankie Baby" once
    or twice.
    I call him "Brilliant".

    Frank's Nicknames

Frank prized his privacy, so out of respect, I don't even permit myself to wonder what his family called him. Now show-business handles- that's another matter.

"Every time I see you grin, I'm such a cuckoo.. individual."

    Hi Charlie

    Hi Charlie
That nickname came from my heart.

Jazzers have a diologue all their own.
You would hear them answer that question
about " Do you have a nickname"? like this:-
" I don't care what you call me, as long as you
remember to call me for dinner!"

That's the stuff I like when I'm out with a true Jazzers.
They gently take the micky out of each other.
It's a sign of total friendship and great respect for
    each other's work.
It took me years until I was completely accepted by the great
    Jazzers in England.
I used to be in Awe of their wonderful talent.
Frank was my number one hero. Still is.
These days, I am just their company.
No "front". No bull. Just me as I am.
They are such a bright bunch of people that you can't bull them anyway.
Musios generally are a breed apart.
Frank was and always will be the "top of the heap".
What a true and spot on line.
