Love this Bonnie Raitt! Got to see her in '75 backing up Little Feat. She came back on with Little Feat. Great show, very small audience. Bonnie commented that it felt like a living room. Great memory.

Yes, we don't know what "Some Velvet Morning" means (not for sure, anyway) but we still love it.

Has Lee been compared to Leonard Cohen? Because that's who he's reminding me of tonight.

This is a great set.

Yes, some wonderful tracks! Sand is one of my top favorites from Nancy and Lee.

Sand is the song we were recording when Barton Lee coined the phrase Beauty and the Beast to define us.

Hi everybody! I'm listening while making dinner here,
Some Velvet Morning (Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazlewood) - wow I loved this song when it first came out-I was young but I heard it. I love the haunting soliloquy between Nancy and Lee a ton! awesome.

Me too! I am going to try my best to pull one together - with the artist's cooperation, of course...

Today's show will run about 30 minutes or so longer than usual...we added the Margaret Whiting set, and we just couldn't cut any of the great Sinatra-Jobim recordings we've got coming up...

Sounds perfectly delightful. Are you on the west coast or is Nancy on the east coast?
