After listening to my favorite singer -- his definitive version of "THE SUMMER KNOWS" -- one of my two favorite songs by "The Bergmans" (Marilyn & Alan) whose words were written to a pre-existing melody by Michel Legrand (like Johnny Mercer, they wouldn't have it any other way!) I was praying, to myself, that Nancy would play their other great song from that same movie, "The Summer of '42" -- the Oscar-nominated "Summer Me, Winter Me." Sure enough. Just in case I haven't said it lately: I love "Nancy for Frank." (Just checked the playlist, and to coin a phrase, I think I'm going to like it here!)
