North of the border up Ontario way.

Prompted by a post on another thread I reread Tina's book last night.
Today, where I live, it is cold, grey, and raining.

I also read the book if, I remember it was very interesting. Now that the snow has curtailed my bike riding for the season, maybe I can re-read it along with a few others about Frank Sr. Happy holidays all !

Today I was talking with my mother about the incredible importance of stars like(Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn,Gary Cooper and Dean Martin,Sophia Loren and many others).

In these names there was your father(how can miss him) and i told her the importance that has him in my life and in the life of millions of people.
After this i said to my mother that Mr Sinatra was so unlucky to met his last wife and i went to take the Tina's book and i started to read to her what Tina wrote:

My mother was shocked. (everyone while read the book is shocked)...
She cried while i was reading some line, she didn't find word to define that woman. She found one that starts whit D and finish with L.

Nancy, my mother send to you, Frankie ad Tina a big hug because she said you were very strong in that situations because isn't easy to see a parent to suffer and to see a woman to try to bring him away from you.

Tina tells it like it is

Love her account of the FS story, a loving daughter and a fierce protecter!!!! This book stays on my shelf along with Nancy's two hardback masterpieces. With these three, who needs any more Sinatra bios?

My Fathers Daughter

What a book, bought it this morning and just finished it. I must say reading threads here made me question whether I wanted to read it; simply because as you say in the book sinatra was seen as a man who was untouchable, but sadly of course he was not.

As a 19 year old boy I am not too embarrassed to say it did bring a tear to my eye, however lets be thankful for what he did have and what he gave us all!

I keep wanting to read this book, but...

One day, I'll get a couple of boxes of Kleenex and read it.

I loved this book; read it at least a dozen times. Last week, I ordered it for my "Kindle," to read it once again.

Yes, be sure to read this one Matt. It has lots of great family information and some wonderful insights to our favorite singer. Lots of great photos too.

This book is a MUST read, you will need tissues - I must have read it about 5 times now, it's a page turner for sure, but so heartbreaking.

Good news that it is on Kindle, I haven't seen it in iTunes Library yet.

Oh, yes. I picked it up again when Josh and Matt mentioned it and, just riffling through and looking at the photos made me tear up. Very, very emotional and moving.

Matt, I hope you enjoy the book but, prepare yourself for some very emotional reading. Tina's honesty and candor is amazing and you will learn a lot about the Sinatra family.
As good as the book is, the last half is so unbearably heart wrenching and sad, I can't ever bring myself to read it again. I don't really need to anyway because parts of it are burned in my heart and mind forever.
