Nice tribute
My grandfather, Anthony Petta, died on January 16th, 1969. A bad month if ever there was one.

My thoughts to your grandpa, voice1!!
My deep admiration about your tribute for your Grandfather , Il Signore Anthony Petta. Very beatiful tribute! Let's not face these kind of events as a loss, but as a transformation, always to a good one. Only God knows the right things, at the right time, always. your friend, Paolo Di Napoli.

Your beautiful tribute to Antonio Martino Sinatra
Paolo, here we go in English again. Your tribute to Antonio Martino Sinatra is absolutely beautiful. You are right. He was a man of few words, a very quiet person compared with Natalina (Dolly), but he was a wonderful and warm person who wanted better things. I remember my father too in an extremely warm way with happiness, and yes, sadness too. I lost my dear father a number of years ago. And when you lose a father, you never forget. Again, your tribute is lovely. Grazie tante.

Yeah Carolina!
"Guardare di traverso", somente questo. There's no need to say many words. Only needs to look at you and no words. Questo "sguardo aguzzo"sometimes is better than words! Un bacio per te!! Tu sei un bel poema!!!! Ci vediamo, Paolo.

Grazie tante
Paolo,
Hello there. What nice things to say. You are very kind. Grazie. I think that parents play such a part in molding their children's lives. Frank had two very lovely parents. Antonio Martino was on the quiet side, but he had high ideals, as did all of the Italian (and other) immigrants who came to America. They came over here because they dreamed of opportunity, and they wanted much better for themselves and their families. That is a wonderful thing. And they worked very hard. Natalina (Dolly) was the complete opposite of Antonio Martino. She was very outgoing and far from being quiet. Together, they brought up our beloved Frank and made him into an absolutely wonderful person with fine values. Paolo, my father did the very same thing for me. He may be gone now, but I am forever grateful to him for what he did.

You turn "foggy days in London town" into sunny ones!
Paolo,
What a nice person you are and what sweet things to say to me! I also notice an equally lovely fluency in your voice, not in inglese, but in italiano! You brighten up this forum and turn "foggy days in London town" into very sunny ones! And I feel like I am on the "sunny side of the street." It is a delight to talk with you every time! I'll be seeing you in all the old familiar places!

Carolyn!
... "CHE" has many meanings, depending on functions in a statement. Ex. (relative pronoun): Le ragazze che vediamo.... : the girls THAT WE SEE (LOOK), and some many others. Italian language is learned mainly by your sentiments and heart. There are rules, of course, but mainly the "deep feeling" a word producing "effect"into communication. Ciao, bella bambina! Paolo.

Italians and Sentiments of the Heart
Paolo,
What a beautiful thing to say!! Italian is learned mailing by sentiments of the heart! Paolo, I know how wonderfully warm the Italian people are. That is one of the things that makes them such nice people. They are also very emotional people. Paolo, I think is is a lovely thing to show such warmth and to be able to be so expressive with your innermost emotions and be so sensitive. Paolo, I do not have Italian heritage. Mom comes from a Russian background, but born here in the USA. My father, however, was a Hungarian immigrant, born in Hungary. He came over here as a very young boy with his father, and he learned the American language, and he worked very hard, went to school and studied, and made a success of himself. Italians are that way. Wonderful, wonderful people! Very hardworking and wanting better for themselves! Again, the picture of Frank and Dolly, his wonderful mom, with Nancy looking on is so heartwarming to me! Thank you for explaining to me about "che." Italian is a gorgeous language. A very rich language!

Yeah Carolyn!
Sometimes, when I watch to the cable T.V. , I see how nice are people in Russia. Very talented people in arts too, among many other things. And also the Hungarian people,///// I remember now, one of the best from< romantic era pianists>, Mr. Franz Liszt! What a beautiful history in music and life. Bela Bartòk as well too. Ciao Bella, Paolo!

Paolo, yes you are right about the Hungarians!
Yes, Paolo. The Russians have produced many fine performing artists. Many in the ballet, and in opera, etc. And you are absolutely right about the Hungarians with their pianists. Yes, Franz Liszt is one! Have you also noticed that Hungarians seem to be noted for violinists? But the Italians! The wonderful Italians! They are all singers with the very beautiful voices! Gorgeous voices! Very emotional! And when they sing in Italian, there is nothing else that is so very beautiful!

Hello Carolyn!!
I've had just noticed your doubt about "che vediamo", but I guess you meaned "ci vediamo", isn't it? The explanation of the 1st one is O. K. .... But now I figure out that you wanna know about { "ci vediamo" = "see you later"} . You mixed "che" with "ci", am I right? A domani , Paolo. < P.S. if not, correct me, please.>

Anthony Martin Sinatra again
Paolo,
Again, I have to say that Antonio Martino Sinatra deserves a tremendous amount of credit for what he did - - as a person, as a husband, as a father, and as an Italian immigrant who came to this country and bettered himself. Again, without him, we never would have had Frank. Two questions for you, Paolo. The first one's the easiest. What other name did Frank's father go by? Now here's the second one. It's a little harder. Frank, Jr.'s full name was Franklin Wayne Emmanuel Sinatra. Wayne and Emmanuel are certainly not Italian names! Do you know how Frank, Jr. got the name of Franklin and of Emmanuel?
