Why DID Dean sing to Frank in The Chapel in the Moonlight?

(In a Jerry Lewis voice) "Because he loved to hear his organ"???

....As they sing, oh promise me, forever be mine!"

Wasn't there a song..."Why is Uranus Really Heaven, When Your Face Looks Like Hell To Me?"

Dr Wang diagnosis:

Ed Zacharey disease when your face look ed zachary rike Uranus.

What movie or song title best describes FS's technique with the fairer sex: "Nice and Easy", "Suddenly", "The Best is Yet to Come", "The Second Time Around" "Satisfy Me One More Time", "All or Nothing At All", "All the Way", "Let Me Try Again"? Hmmmmmm, that's a tough one...

George:

This is a very good question and one that deserves intense scrutiny. I will do my best.

What movie or song title best describes FS's technique with the fairer sex:

1) "Nice and Easy" - While a seemingly good description, it doesn't do the muscular Sinatra justice. While his technique was nice and certainly easy, the female would never forget the experience, so this is a no.

2) "Suddenly" - I don't think there was anything sudden about Frank's technique. It was all mthodically thought out.

3) "The Best is Yet to Come" - Frank never saved anything for later. It was the here and now that he lived in.

4) "The Second Time Around" - Usually terrific for Frank, it wasn't always pleasurable for the love interest as once was usually quite enough for the ladies, as legend has it.

5) "Satisfy Me One More Time" - I think this is the best answer. Frank was an addiction. And one more time usually meant until the next time.

6) "All or Nothing At All" - Nah! Frank could make an entire loaf of bread with one kernel of wheat.

7) "All the Way" - Is there any other way?

8) "Let Me Try Again" - There was no trying.....it was always well executed.

Next ???

Please answer the question "where or when".

"I Get That Old Feeling".....

Dorian Gray got such a feeling each time he viewed his portrait.

I get it when I see pictures of jeanieinabottle.

"WHEN?" Like, All the Time, nearly.....

FS used to say that if he was as amourously successful as

chronicled, "I'd be in a jar at Harvard University". But methinks he

was just being modest; Wilt "The Stilt" Chamberlain wrote about

bedding in excess of 20,000 women, ladies and girls in the course of

40 years (1.369863 women per day) I wonder if those "partials"

(.369863) were pulling a "Sharon Stone"???

How "Wee" and how "Small" were the hours of that morning

Frank laments about???

In the immortal words of Michael Caine..."Not A Lot Of People Know That" but....

In "The Wee Small Hours", the lament is for the original concept of this album to be a collection of Scottish folk songs about promiscuous Edinburgh midgets the original title being

"Wee Small 'Ooo-ers"

what really happened on "The Road To Mandalay"?

This was a scandal of Madalayan proportions

For it was not a road at all. It was a dried up stream bed. When travelers were forced to take that route, they would often hurt their ankles and knees causing them to be late. So over time people just started calling it "Road to Man delay" which was melded into the colloquial "Mandalay" after 1763.

It was written with certain sarcasm

Everyone knows that London by night is really dangerous. Fog, Drizzle, and all of the crime that happens. Little kids looking for a meal as chronicled in "Oliver". Really very sad. So, London by night is really not so wonderful. It's just a typical example of British sarcasm.

What really happened in Monterrey and was it really a long time ago?

Hey, when Frank tells you to lean, you lean! No standing straight when commanded otherwise by Mr. S.

Not at all about the Mexican city as many think, but a direct reference to Frank's tour of Northern England in 1953, (a long time ago indeed) where ticket sales were so poor that during the Blackpool leg Frank and 15 band members had to share one room, with just a one bar electric fire, in Elsie Grimble's La Casa Monterrey Guest House on the Golden Mile, Frank & orchestra leader Bill Ternent ended up sightseeing and were locked in The Blackpool Tower overnight and the "bracing" Irish Sea breezes and lack of a decent overcoat (an essential at any English seaside resort) meant that both caught rather nasty colds.

What was so special about the schedule and route of Von Ryan's Express?

Due to Rail Track doing some repairs due to the wrong kind of leaves on the line, the train got behind schedule, and then after some extra unscheduled repairs, the train left unexpectedly, leaving behind the dashing American repair man.
