Invite for Nancy.......
Nancy, I don't know if you are in NYC on 12/12 nor do I know how to reach your office. I'm Senior Vice President of Communications at the American Stock Exchange, and we'd be honored to have you (and your brother and sister) as our guest to ring the opening bell for trading. These events are usually well covered by media and I know our floor members and brokers would be ecstatic to have you join us on your dad's birthday. Please have your reps e-mail me at Robert.Rendine@amex.com if you are in town and have any interest.
Best.
Bob Rendine

Hi Rick, Jeane, Rene, Ed, everybody.
When my friend in NYC e-mailed me this link in August, I put it on the Forum, and it functioned for about a week. Then, when you clicked the link, it linked to some "get your own business on-line website" promotion. I was embarrassed and posted that the link at that point no longer functioned. At the time, I had transcribed the words and put them up in a posting. Being a bit of a dweeb sometimes, I deleted it later, as I try to eliminate my "obsolete" posts to make room for other people's postings. I've transcribed them again:
I dreamed I had an interview with God.
"So you would like to interview me?" God asked.
"If you have the time," I said. God smiled.
"My time is eternity. What questions do you have in mind for me?"
"What surprises you most about humankind?"
God answered:
"That they get bored with childhood, they rush to grow up, and long to be children again...That they lose their health to make money, and then lose their money to restore their health...
That by thinking anxiously about the future they forget the present,
such that they live neither in the present nor the future...
That they live as if they will never die and die as though they had never lived..."
God's hand took mine, and we were silent for awhile.
And then I asked:
"As a parent, what are some of life's lessons you want your children to learn?"
"To learn that they cannot make anyone love them, all they can do is let themselves be loved...And that it is not
good to compare themselves to others...To learn to forgive by practicing forgiveness...To learn that it only takes a few seconds to open profound wounds in those they love, and that it can take many years to heal them...To learn that a rich person is not one who has the most but one who needs the least...To learn that there are people who love them dearly but simply do not yet know how to
express or show their feelings...To learn that two people can look at the same thing and see it differently...To learn that it is not enough that they forgive each other, but that they must also forgive themselves..."
"Thank you for your time," I said humbly; "Is there anything else that you would like your children to know?"
God smiled and said:
"Just know that I am here...Always"

Also, if this original masterpiece should become unavailable again after a time, I have provided a slightly altered rendition on my site - where the background is my homedrawn cartoon of the hills of San Francisco at night, with the original music in the background, and I speak the words (makes it faster and quicker loading). It goes in a loop continuously until you close the window. In the first loop, the audio pauses about five seconds in the middle before resuming, then is continuous on the subsequent loops.
One thing - you should page down about an inch as the ad banner at the top pushes an inch of it down off the page.

Oh my God! I didn't mean to drag you through my whole animated site, only the interview with God rendition. By the way, each loop ends with something I added: "and then the dream ended and I awoke".
The link I put in the above message was meant to be underlined entirely, but instead it goes to the main site - at the bottom of the main site page, I put a "Click here" link to the interview with God.
