Sinatra Select Bottle and Giftbox
Jack and Frank Together Again
Jack Daniel's® to introduce special-edition
Frank Sinatra whiskey

(Cannes, France, October 23, 2012) In recognition of the relationship between two American icons, Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey, in association with Frank Sinatra Enterprises (FSE), is launching a new ultra-premium expression in Travel Retail this October. Crafted from special "Sinatra barrels" the Jack Daniel's Sinatra Select is bottled at 90 proof and comes in a specially designed one- liter bottle. The premium package also includes a specially designed gift box and book telling the story of the legendary Jack Daniel's and Frank Sinatra relationship. A Travel Retail exclusive, the suggested retail price for Jack Daniel's Sinatra Select will be determined market-to-market.

Commenting on the special Jack Daniel's offering honoring his father, Frank Sinatra, Jr. said, "Dad would be very flattered by the association.

"This fine Tennessee Whiskey, or Old No. 7 as he referred to it, was a favorite part of my father's life and he loved both sharing it with his friends and introducing it to new acquaintances. I'm very pleased to continue to be a part of the Jack Daniel's family and feel the introduction of Sinatra Select is an appropriate tribute as we near my father's 100th birthday in 2015," said Sinatra, Jr.

According to Jim Perry, managing director for Brown-Forman Travel Retail the parent brand of Jack Daniel's, the idea for a Jack Daniel's premium whiskey to salute "Ol' Blue Eyes" has been suggested for many years.

"It was common knowledge both within the entertainment industry and in the world of Jack Daniel's that Frank was one of Jack's biggest and most loyal fans. He often referred to his favorite whiskey as the ‘Nectar of the Gods.' In discussing this special edition Jack Daniel's, the Sinatra family responded with a great deal of enthusiasm. All Frank's children were vocal and encouraging in their endorsement. We feel that Jack Daniel's Sinatra Select will quickly become a cherished item for your home bar and encourage folks to enjoy this superb whiskey," Perry added.

On stages throughout the world from 1950s thru the 1990s, Sinatra would always offer a toast to his audience with a glass of Jack Daniel's in his hand.

Hand selected by the Master Distiller Jeff Arnett, "Sinatra barrels" used to make the product were crafted to provide an extra full character and darker rich amber color by exposing the spirit to extra layers of toasted wood on the inner surface of the barrels. The extra rich barrels were mingled with classic Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey and bottled at 90 proof resulting in a character that is full of oak and spice notes with an exceedingly smooth vanilla finish. The smooth, bold character of the whiskey is meant to embody the smooth, bold character of the man.

In addition to Travel Retail, Jack Daniel's Sinatra Select will be available at the Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee in 2013.

Jack Daniel's Sinatra Select was introduced on October 23, 2012 at the Tax Free World Association meeting in Cannes, France. The news conference was attended by Frank Sinatra, Jr., who later performed at the launch event for the product honoring his father.

SHOUT! FACTORY TO RELEASE
FRANK SINATRA'S PRIMETIME ON DVD

NOVEMBER 13, 2012

"The 20th century's great balladeer didn't do much television, but when he did, he made glorious noise. … Old fans will find new revelations of the pop master in his swingin' prime and autumnal glory."
-Time Magazine

Los Angeles, CA - Shout! Factory has announced the release Frank Sinatra's Primetime on DVD November 13, 2012. Few entertainers were capable of carrying a prime-time television event the way that Francis Albert Sinatra was. Lucky for us, he did it time and time again. Featured in Primetime are two classics from the late '60s, along with a guest-filled special from 1977.

The first special included in Primetime is "Francis Albert Sinatra Does His Thing," with special guests Diahann Carroll and the 5th Dimension, which aired November 25, 1968. Having established himself in American households with his previous A Man And His Music specials, Frank made a bold move in 1968, in the middle of the civil rights era, with a special celebration of black music and its impact on American popular culture. Highlights among the 15 performances include a medley of spirituals sung with Diahann Carroll and a swingin' pop interlude with then-chart-toppers The 5th Dimension.

The next special included in Primetime is "Sinatra," featuring Don Costa and his orchestra. In this final installment in what had become an annual tradition of televised specials, Sinatra casts a backward glance at some of the highlights of a storied career. He also provides a glimpse into his musical future with an early rendition of "My Way," soon to become his personal anthem. "Sinatra" aired originally on November 5, 1969 and features performances of 15 songs.

"Sinatra and Friends," the final special included in Primetime, originally aired on April 21, 1977, and includes 17 performances. Spanning multiple genres and featuring some of the leading names in pop and country, this rarely seen special offers wall-to-wall performances. Guests include Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, Natalie Cole, Loretta Lynn and John Denver, who all return one-by-one for a final embrace with Frank as he sings the Paul Anka-penned "Everybody Ought To Be In Love."

Primetime is also included in Shout! Factory's 7-DVD box set The Frank Sinatra: Concert Collection, featuring over 14 hours of television and concert performances from the '50s through the '80s, including four previously unreleased specials, a box-set exclusive compilation of vintage performances, and a 44-page book featuring rare photographs and notes by Sinatra scholar Bill Zehme.

Terror comes to the sleepy small town of Suddenly when a cold-blooded assassin takes a family hostage. Now, the clock is ticking and every precious second counts as they band together to stop this methodical killer before he can carry out his shocking plan. Academy Award-winner Frank Sinatra (From Here to Eternity) gives a "tour de force" (The New York Times) performance in the most shocking role of his career. Sterling Hayden (The Killing) costars as the sheriff who is pitted against this cool and cunning psychopath in a tense battle of wills. Available in pristine HD with superior picture and sound, this is the definitive collector's edition of this controversial classic of unnerving suspense.
