Dear Nancy.

Very good news Nancy! It's always good to hear that justice has been done.

A Huge Kiss,

Gerald Markowitz.

Hi Nancy,
Although Rick Apt was but one of the sellers, he now has to face up to his ignoring your requests to stop. I wonder though if these sellers can provide any info as to these makers and "labels" who are providing these CDs, or where they themselves are getting them from.

Great news, Nancy!

BRAVO! Nancy!

Bootlegging Is Both A Crime And A Violation Of The Artist That The Bootleggers Claim To "Love"!

I hope this will make all bootleggers think seriously about the dirty business they are participating in and profiting from.

BOYCOTT BOOTLEGGING!
IF NO ONE BUYS,
THE BOOTLEGGING BUSINESS DIES.

Well done.

And well said, Elizabeth!

Fans suffer from bootlegging too - we can't legitimately ask record companies for reissues (with unreleased bonus cuts, of course!) if an arist's catalog has been raped by all the CDR peddlers on the 'net.

Not to mention those of us who've invested in rare vinyl - only to have it become worthless while pirates continue to "auction" these "rare" & "imported" CDs.

Bootlegging is a much bigger issue than royalties: ultimately we ALL get ripped off.

Probation or 364 days in jail for a guy who was making a modest living keeping the MUSIC alive? Ridciculous.

Let's hope he isn't "Apt" to do the bootlegging again...

Hello Nancy, and other family members -

I must agree with those who support prosecution when our written laws are violated.

However, I would certainly encourage you to seriously and actively release so many of the fine recordings you have approval rights and control over. "Unauthorized" recordings primarily exist because you have, for whatever reason, suppressed the release of this material.

I know, you have authorized the release of . . . and . . . and . . . , but that is just a tiny portion of the wonderful legacy of Frank Sinatra.

Enough of the candles and singing rubber dolls - Your Father's legacy is his music!

Get a rope, Harry? Perhaps you should get a grip! There's no need to slam Mr. Apt. He has taken his sentence like a gentleman and he's been through enough. To suggest he should be hung is obscene. Go after some real criminals and leave Rick alone!
