I am looking forward to seeing these performances. I would guess that this material is from the ABC TV series? I hope that the musical performances are shown in their entirety. I am especially looking forward to the duets with Ella Fitzgerald and Peggy Lee!

What great news!!! I love those duets. The new duets are wonderful but I have always been partial to the great stars of the past. Just moved and finally have my system up and running. What a surprise to see on my first trip back in.

i like this picture of those two musicians/ generations/pop-stars meeting.
it is in the booklet to CYCLES, i think they met at a recording session in summer 1968.
if i only knew what they discussed there
(i think 'something' hadn't been written yet).

A man who composed so beautiful songs like "Something", "Here Comes the Sun" and so many others, was, and still is, really Wonderful. Rest in peace George Harrison. We miss you very much !

George was a gentle soul always searching for God and answers to life. He wrote some beautiful music and was a accomplished musican bringing indian music to the attention of so many of us Westerners in the 60s. I am glad George was able to met Frank and that Frank recorded Something as it's a beautiful love song. I have always liked this picture of Frank and George. Thank you Nancy for posting it as it's a lovely memory of two great performers. Frank was the best and all looked up to him including the Beatles. Rest in Peace George and Sleep Warm dear Frank.
